Charley,
I’m slow to figure things out sometimes (still am not over my Hitchikers error yesterday).
Psycho brought on all the pseudo-Freudians. I will say, he did have mother issues, but was also a cuckoo. Was it the mother issues that made him the cuckoo, or would he have been a cuckoo without the mother issues….hmmmm.
Last fortune cookie I got only had the Chinese translation for ‘goat’.
You crack me up…
I’m not sure most can handle ruffled feathers, they start dropping eggs like mad(that wasn’t funny, I’m not as funny as you). I for one like to be ruffled.
How’d the bookcase come out?
Blimey. I missed that one. I don’t think I’d get a Hitchhikers ref either. It’s been forever since I’ve seen that. I can only remember that the lad who was in it played Bridey in “Brideshead revisited”. Wandered about in his jim jams, if I remember?
Feather ruffling…I’m thinking it could become an Olympic sport. Prrr Brrr, come here my dirty pigeons.
Bookcase looking cool. But at the moment my flat looks like a small explosion has occurred. I am such a control freak I cannot sleep until it is tidy. Seriously. It is 1.15 am here and I am tidying…
But I knew the reference, and forgot! Not Jeremy Irons (don’t think, although I love him), so was it Anthony Andrews (if that was his name?)
I am the same kind of control freak. Never go to bed unless everything is put away, dishes washed etc…I wasn’t like this as a kid, but now am. So can relate to that. It all get’s messed up every day, and put away/cleaned up every night. It’s sheet washing right now for me.
Pigeon ruffling, sounds good. We can ruffle pigeons while dressed as 1970’s Angels. Of course all the movements will be in slow motion, as was done on those older shows. (like the Bionic Man)
Oh yes. I like this! Everything in slo-mo.
Can’t remember the actor’s name. He played Sebastian’s (Anthony Andrews) older brother.
Simon something or other, I think his name was. Brideshead was my first time seeing Irons on TV—loved him.
Yeah! You’re dead right. It was Simon something. “Brideshead” was Jeremy Irons’ first big break. Before that he got work on a kids tv show called “Playaway” which involved lots of singing and pretending to be an elephant and stuff like that. I love “Brideshead” so much. Especially the beginning of his love affair with Julia as they cross the Atlantic.
